Links
- Correct any errors from Assignment 1.
- Create a page in your W: named personal2.htm. You can start from scratch,
or copy the template.htm file we made during class.
- Create a link called Assignment 2 on index.htm to point to your new personal2.htm page.
- Include at least four main headers with text and photos about something you enjoy talking about, doing,
or perhaps want to research.
- Create at least one thumbnail image and link it to the full-sized image. Be sure the user knows it's a
thumbnail.
- Create page navigation links at the top of this page to make it easy to find the different sections.
Include a TOP link at the bottom of the page to return you to the top of the page.
- Using LEFT / RIGHT arrow images, create page navigation links between your two personal pages to make them
easy to navigate. You can use left.gif and right.gif in your images folder,
or find something on the Internet. You should also label the arrows. Be sure to give credit if you use graphics from the internet.
- Link a HOME (home.gif) image on both your personal pages to index.htm.
- Complete the text-based page navigation we started in class to link Home, Personal, Sample, Shadow
and Stylesheet pages together. These are the only pages you need to link with text-based navigation.
These links should include a way for your visitor to know which page they are currently reading.
- Add a mailto: link to the bottom of both your personal pages.
- Add any additional links you feel make navigation easier between your pages.
- TEST ALL YOUR LINKS to be sure they work.
